Valentine’s day – a day for lovers, or a day to love and be loved?

Does a father’s love for his child count less?  Do grade-schoolers exchanging Valentine’s Day cards for the share joy of putting a smile on their classmates faces lack recognition?  Should an adult bearing well wishes, be it the form of a greating card, a rose, or a box of chocolates to their elderly parent be disregarded?

The answer most certainly is no!  These are all expressions of love; all acts of human kindness, and all most worthy to be celebrated on Valentine’s Day!

I declare, Valentine’s Day is no longer a day for lovers…. it is a day to love and be loved, period!!!
