Do the small things matter?

I’m sure you’ve heard the saying before that “everyone is going through something.”  Truer words could not have been spoken.

Many people go through their daily routines with smiles on their faces yet these are only “painted masks” used to hide heartache, pain, trials, and tribulations that so many of us are going through.

You may not realize how important or impacting a kind word or gesture you make may have on someone… it could ultimately change or save a life!

We are often too busy and so caught up with our own lives, that we do not take the time, and I mean really take the time to focus on others around us.

When was the last time you stopped to say hello, please, or thank you?

When was the  last time you gave a genuine smile, and did it hurt you to do so?

Small acts of kindness is all it takes to make a difference in someone’s life!  These acts can give hope where there is none.  They inspire, encourage, and motivate.

So I ask you again, do the small things matter?

The answer is an unwaivering and solid yes!  The small things do matter…. they matter much more than you will ever know!
