CJ & CO is back from a short sabbatical.  We are refreshed and rejuvenated to continue motivating and inspiring you, to be the best YOU, you can be!

Whether in our personal lives, family lives, or careers – it is imperative to take time out to stop and reassess our game plan.

The journey to success does not happen overnight.  As such, we must at regular intervals ask ourselves: Am I on track to meeting my goals?  Do I need to re-prioritize my goals?  Have my goals changed?

By identifying and understanding our goals, only then can we put an action plan in place to achieve them.  With this we attain clarity.  With clarity we have direction. With direction comes hard work.  With hard work comes success.

To you our dear friends we wish you success always!

What will your legacy be?

Will you be known as the person who never gave up; the one who refused to throw in the towel; the one destined to achieve success or die trying?

Or will you be known as the one who lacked the drive and tenacity to achieve your goals; the one less focused?

The reality is I don’t know anyone who actually strives to be the latter of the two; yet the actions of many would indicate this is the path they have chosen.

Many would like to be successful; they’d like to dine at the finest restaurants; fly off to exotic places; and drive luxurious cars; yet they don’t put in the time and effort into their careers or businesses.

Then there are a disciplined few, and I do mean few who fight that hard fight day in and day out to achieve their goals and bring their dreams to fruition.

You see, success doesn’t always come easy, if it did we’d all be sipping on champagne in Paris or sailing on a gondola in Venice.  The reality is success often doesn’t come at all – even with the hard work and dedication.

With this in mind, if you’re not putting in the time or effort to enrich your own life or that of your family, then don’t be angry or envious of the ones who do.  Their battle is not easy and their sacrifice is beyond your comprehension.  Try walking a mile in their shoes.

So again I ask, what will your legacy be?

When all is said and done; after the final curtain call; will you be remembered for your hard work and dedication; will you be remembered for your tireless contributions and efforts for change; will you have enriched the lives of your family; or will you have left the world in a better place?

Or will you have just lived an ordinary life always wanting and hoping for something better, but never taking action or making sacrifices to achieve it?

Will you be one of many or one of a few?

What will your legacy be?

Success is often staring us right in the face, trying to summon our attention. Sometimes it’s a small glimmer that catches our eyes; a gentle whisper in our ears; or a mild pull on our coattails.  When it comes your way, will you be alert enough to see it; to hear it; or to feel it?

There’s Success, and then there’s Success!  Do you know the difference between the two?

No matter what you do; no matter how much thought or effort you put into it… success can not, and will not meet you along your journey, if you are not willing to take the first step out the door. ~CJ Ramsaran~

Many of us share a similar goal; the goal to not only find success, but to achieve it, and sustain it.

Success… how will you get there, and are you ready for it?

Are you truly ready for it?

As with most goals in life, you should establish a plan for the success you wish to reach.

Start by identifying the big picture?

What is it that you wish to be, to achieve, or to accomplish?  What is the ultimate goal and reward you’re after?

Once you have identified this, you can then begin setting smaller, more attainable goals, which will bring you closer to your ultimate reward.

Your goals should be SMART:

  • S – Specific
  • M – Measurable
  • A – Attainable
  • R – Relevant
  • T – Time-bound

If your goal is to be a writer, to meet the SMART Goal mnemonic , you should re-state your goal in the following context: to be a published writer by 31-Dec-11.

Write down your goals and track your progress daily.

You will have wins, and you will also have losses.

Learn from your mistakes and set-backs, and remember to reward yourself for the milestones you achieve along the way.

Revisit your goals often to ensure you are on track.

Modify or tweak some of your smaller goals to keep them realistic and attainable.

Success can and will be yours… but you must stay focused!  Focus will allow you to achieve your ultimate goal, and to claim your ultimate prize!

Don’t aim for success if you want it; just do what you love and believe in, and it will come naturally.

~David Frost~

Success hovers right before your very eyes, but could be gone with the blink of one.  Grasp it and hold on to it, before it disappears.
